We love dining al fresco and know that you do too! Our plaza and riverside patio seating are the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors along with a fresh beer. Here are some important details for your visit.
What outdoor areas are part of Alter?
Currently we have a large riverside patio with a container bar that has extra seating up top. Additionally, there is plaza seating out front within the fenced in area. The green tables further out in the plaza are not part of Alter. Please see a host to be seated outside.
Do you need to have a reservation for the patio or do you accept walk-ins?
We do take reservations for the patio, but walk-ins are welcome if there is space available. Click here to reserve your table.
What if I have a large group (8+)?
Please give us a call prior to your visit to make sure we have space available. If you’re looking to book a private event, please contact our private event coordinator Lisa.
What happens if the weather turns?
In the event of inclement weather, we’ll do our best to reseat you inside as long as their is space available within current capacity guidelines. We appreciate your understanding, as we have no control over Mother Nature. She isn’t on the payroll. Ugh.
Container Bar Magic
Soak in the scenic views from the second level of our patio’s container bar, and revel in the ambiance of our riverside patio all summer long. Edison bulbs light the night while you enjoy exploring our wide selection of beers, whiskeys, wines, and signature cocktails.
