Well it’s about time!
We’ve wanted to do a collaboration with our amazing friends and neighbors Skeleton Key for a while and finally got the chance with our brand new beer called Spontaneous Human Collaboration. The second coolest thing about this new beer (the first being the people!) is a newer method of adding hops called HDHC, or High Density Hop Charge.
In the words of Sam Richardson, co-founder and brewmaster at Other Half Brewing, in a Beer Connoisseur article from earlier this year, HDHC is “a unique blend of advanced and traditional hop products designed to maximize flavor and aroma.” In our case, this means that a combination of cryo hops, traditional hop pellets, and even hop oil join forces to create more intense aromas and flavors.
Needless to say, we are extremely excited to try this beer (and it’s still being brewed as I type!), and can’t wait to share it with all of you.
