Looking for a way to shake things up on Valentine’s Day? Join us for a unique beer dinner experience here in the Alter Brewing Co. Barrel Room. Each guest will enjoy an expertly crafted 5-course meal meticulously paired with 5 delicious beers. Chef Sanchez and one of our brewers will be in attendance to guide you through the dinner, as well as talk food and beer! Attendees will also have the opportunity to walk up between the second two courses to observe Chef Sanchez as he prepares the 4th course: paella valenciana. This is truly an experience you won’t want to miss.

Single tickets: $70 + tax (includes 5-course dinner, beer pairings, fees, and gratuity)

The Menu:

1st Course – Hors-d’oeuvres
Center Line Golden Ale
– Artichoke and red bell pepper crostini
– smoked salmon mousse filled deviled egg toped with Romanoff Caviar

2nd Course
Wendy Peppercorn
– Braised beet and goat cheese, balsamic cardamom vinaigrette

3rd Course
Hopular Kid Extra Pale Ale
– Warm duck leg confit and red cabbage salad with bacon, pomegranate vinaigrette

4th Course
Galaxy and the Seven Seas
– Paella Valenciana (saffron rice/vegetables/chicken/clams/mussels/shrimp in seafood broth)

5th Course – Dessert
Barrel Aged Smash Tun
-Chocolate layer cake, strawberry coulis

About our culinary partner and friend, Chef Francois Sanchez:
Chef Sanchez completed two years of study at the Culinary School of the Moulin a Vent in Perpignan, France. He has a lifetime of culinary experience working for hotels in France and the U.S., including Hotel Sofitel and Hotel Nikko. Francois was the chef owner of a southern French style restaurant as well as several Spanish tapas restaurants for 16 years before working at a conference center as the executive chef in St. Charles.
